Finance Lead, Head of Finance

Join our dynamic team as Finance Lead / Head of Finance at Monite, where you will drive financial initiatives, own accounting processes, and maintain relationships with stakeholders. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will work closely with the CEO, CFO, and other leaders to steer daily activities and make a true impact.

Requirements

• Successfully completed university degree with a focus on finance/accounting or a comparable qualification
• 5+ years of relevant working experience in a (senior) finance capacity, ideally in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Sound knowledge of accounting regulations according to HGB or IFRS (US GAAP is a plus)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to communicate with professionals at all levels
• Highly organised with great attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a problem-solving attitude
• Proficient user of accounting systems (e.g. DATEV) and MS Office (Lucanet or Power BI is a plus)
• Fluent in English (German or Russian is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Entire ownership of the (preparatory) accounting process while maintaining relationships across all functions as well as external stakeholders
• Steering of the preparation of financial statements (incl. consolidated group accounts) as well as the annual budget, quarterly planning, and investor reporting
• Preparation of routine reports and summaries for the management team as well as tracking and communication of various relevant business KPIs
• Financial modelling and business plan ownership (incl. analysis and scenario modelling)
• Assistance in all fundraising initiatives as well as strategic projects (e.g. M&A)
