Requirements

  • Secret Security Clearance
  • A Bachelor's of Science Degree from an ABET accredited program in an Engineering discipline that includes: Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Industrial engineering from a college or university
  • OR ten years demonstrated equivalent experience as an engineer in said discipline
  • Ten years experience in multiple areas of the following
  • Experience in design, development, analysis, test, production, assembly and sustainment of parts or sub-systems in support of a ground vehicle or weapon system
  • Experience in Design and/or Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA/PFMEA) and/or Design for Assembly (DFA)
  • Experience and execution of Root Cause and Corrective Action planning
  • Experience of Systems Engineering as defined by the Department of Defense
  • Abatement of toxic metals
  • Experience in obsolescence management and alternative part identification
  • Execution of supply chain management and//or supply chain risk management
  • Program Management skills also desired

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, design, development, and engineering activities related to electronic systems on assigned vehicles
  • Support Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) efforts through engineering analysis, risk mitigation, and configuration management
  • Perform electrical design reviews, trade-space recommendations, and technology assessments
  • Conduct system integration, failure analysis, and design reviews for lifecycle cost reductions
  • Provide subject matter expertise on vehicle electronics and electrical systems, including reviews, evaluations, and technical input
  • Support the development of performance requirements, systems engineering plans, and milestone documentation
  • Collaborate on electrical and electronics testing, and manage communications with test sites
  • Prepare and present technical materials such as diagrams, PowerPoint charts, and metrics with appropriate classification designations

We are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Risk Management Engineer in support of the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS). The position will serve as a General Engineer responsible for conducting research, design, development, and engineering activities related to vehicle electronics and supporting Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) efforts. This role involves performing detailed engineering analysis, risk mitigation, system integration, configuration management, and trade-space recommendations to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems on assigned vehicles. Additionally, the contractor will provide subject matter expertise, technical reviews, and support for testing and evaluation, while preparing and presenting materials in various formats to communicate key concepts effectively.
