  • Proven track record of supporting high quality/strict SLAs APIs with multiple partners

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement a process for “integration standards”
  • Integration certification process (create, update, manage)
  • Provide guidelines, and documentation (keep it up to date), and (visual) examples of what good integration looks like
  • Think about DevEx, how to make the integration simple/flawless for the partner’s dev team
  • Work tightly with Outbound Partners
  • Work with Business Development Partner and be the technical point of contact of clarification (everything outbound API) with each Partner
  • Work with Product Marketing to announce new versions to Outbound Partners
  • Review suggested changes with the Outbound Partners
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to coordinate new releases, including testing in the staging environment
  • Enhance APIs
  • Manage SLAs - Collaborate with SRE organization to ensure that SLAs are met/exceeded
  • Collaborate internally with Business Development  to onboard new Outbound (SMS) partners, support current Outbound partners
  • Engage Product Managers to understand what’s going on and how the APIs might be impacted. Create and manage a backlog of tasks to support these changes
  • During Critical/Urgent issues - Work with SRE on notifying Partners about incident status updates until services get recovered
  • Address all tasks related to the APIs as an outcome of the Incident root cause analysis. Add them in the backlog, classify them properly, prioritize them, work with the Outbound integrations team to implement them
  • Participate and contribute on Quarterly Business Review with SMS (and other outbound) Partners
  • Performance metrics review (uptime, response time, errors, etc)
  • Collaborate with Engineering to understand forecasting for capacity and scalability planning
  • Manage Outbound Integration slack channels
  • #integrations-outbound for a larger group that’s meant for communication in coordinating near daily issues between product, support, engineering, data, etc for outbound integrations
  • #product-team-fusion for a small group to stay up to date with the high impact initiatives that the outbound integrations team is working on
  • Maintain documentation (Sales/Support/other Internal teams)

Integration Lead, Outbound Partners

Job Description

PartsTech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integration Lead to join our dynamic team, specializing in API support for our outbound partners who consume our services. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert assistance and guidance to our partners, ensuring seamless integration and optimal utilization of our API offerings. You will collaborate closely with our development, product, and business development teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, provide detailed technical documentation, and offer proactive support to enhance partner satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

  1. Define and implement a process for “integration standards”

  18. Reviews (It’s an exhaustive list, we need to focus only on the ones that make sense/provide value):

    a.Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs): Participate in weekly (½ hr) or ad hoc meetings between Customer Support, Product, Engineering, Technical Partner Support to review a real time report. Focus should be only on activities that need to be completed for the week.

  1. Participate and contribute on Quarterly Business Review with SMS (and other outbound) Partners
  2. Performance metrics review (uptime, response time, errors, etc.).
  3. Collaborate with Engineering to understand forecasting for capacity and scalability planning.     I

  1. Issues with financial impact (for prioritization processes).
  2. Recommendations for improvements/new capabilities.
  3. Manage Outbound Integration slack channels:
