Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Paralegal certificate preferred
  • At least four years of IP administration experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department
  • First-hand experience with and knowledge of an IP docketing system
  • Current knowledge of requirements for domestic and foreign IP filings
  • Experience prioritizing workflow
  • Ability to perform effectively with little or no supervision and within established time limits and formal deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and drive projects and tasks with extreme attention to detail
  • In-depth computer proficiency skills in MS Office suite and desire to master software and new applications
  • Strong written and oral communication proficiency
  • Excellent time management
  • High level of integrity and honesty
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion. Ability to think creatively and work in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with internal IP attorneys and outside counsel to ensure accurate docketing of Erasca's domestic and foreign patent and trademark prosecution
  • Align with internal IP counsel to ensure visibility regarding all IP filing and conversion deadlines
  • Administer document execution and filing process for all IP files
  • Patent annuity payment management, with direct instruction responsibility to Erasca's service provider
  • Working within Legal and with other departments and stakeholders, create and implement strong and efficient processes that are scalable and fit for purpose
