Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Paralegal certificate preferred
- At least four years of IP administration experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department
- First-hand experience with and knowledge of an IP docketing system
- Current knowledge of requirements for domestic and foreign IP filings
- Experience prioritizing workflow
- Ability to perform effectively with little or no supervision and within established time limits and formal deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and drive projects and tasks with extreme attention to detail
- In-depth computer proficiency skills in MS Office suite and desire to master software and new applications
- Strong written and oral communication proficiency
- Excellent time management
- High level of integrity and honesty
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion. Ability to think creatively and work in a team environment
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with internal IP attorneys and outside counsel to ensure accurate docketing of Erasca's domestic and foreign patent and trademark prosecution
- Align with internal IP counsel to ensure visibility regarding all IP filing and conversion deadlines
- Administer document execution and filing process for all IP files
- Patent annuity payment management, with direct instruction responsibility to Erasca's service provider
- Working within Legal and with other departments and stakeholders, create and implement strong and efficient processes that are scalable and fit for purpose
