Remote Internal Audit Officer

Join our Risk & Assurance team as an enthusiastic Internal Audit Officer to plan and deliver assurance reviews across our school feeding programmes worldwide.

Requirements

• 1-2 years audit experience
• Good knowledge of the charity sector
• Strong analytical approach with confidence to make objective decisions and challenge where needed

Responsibilities

• Conduct assurance reviews across our school feeding programmes worldwide
• Follow up on any agreed actions with the support and coaching of the Internal Audit Lead
• Map processes under review, assess quality of control frameworks to manage risk, and test effectiveness of controls in practice
• Highlight opportunities with staff to enhance and strengthen the design and operation of existing controls or introduce new controls
• Document all fieldwork in a concise, thorough, and accurate manner, meeting reperformance standards for all controls testing
• Draft high-quality reports to summarise findings and make clear recommendations
• Provide ongoing support to local management teams around implementation of agreed actions
• Assess and challenge whether agreed actions have been effectively implemented by staff by the deadlines set
