Remote Investigation Analyst

Summary

Join Bitso as a Junior Compliance Analyst and assist the Compliance Team in managing internal alerts related to KYC documentation, PEPs, Transaction Monitoring, and other compliance issues. As a self-starter with strong communication skills, you'll conduct investigations, verify customer information, and participate in audits.

Requirements

• Proven English fluency
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in Compliance Standards and AML/CFT regulation in the financial services and crypto industry
• Bachelor’s degree, Compliance related certifications or AML blockchain forensics qualification
• Strong ability to conduct in-depth investigations
• Self-starter, work with minimal guidance and focus on high-impact work
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate your ideas to others in English. However, having a second language e.g. Spanish would be great!
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Ability to move from task to task depending on what takes priority

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence related activities, including monitoring, alert investigation, and case escalation
• Conduct investigations in relation to Money Laundering and Fraud
• Verification of customer information and conduct of 'due diligence' reviews, as part of the Money Laundering Prevention policy
• Analysis of unusual patterns or suspicious activities
• Participate in internal and external audits
