Remote Java Developer

Summary

Join the IoT Digital team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary as a Java Developer and work on intelligent electronic tolling solutions for international customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience in IT
• At least 3 years of experience in developing microservices using Java and Spring Boot
• Strong understanding of quality assurance and testing methodologies, with a focus on delivering robust and reliable software solutions
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS and AWS services, understanding cloud-native application development
• Experience with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Git, GitLab, and Maven, demonstrating a commitment to continuous integration and deployment
• Collaboration with Jira and Confluence
• Strong communication skills and excellent written and verbal communication competences in English
• Knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and experience in working in agile teams

• Work on Tolling Services with high product quality standards
• Dig deep into complex problems and implement innovative proposals or solutions
• Try out new technologies to constantly improve and expand our wide range of know-how
• Be part of our cross-functional, international agile (scrum) team that will take full operational responsibility for the services that you own
