Remote Life-Cycle Infrastructure Architect

Summary

Join Cloudflare's Infrastructure Team as an Infrastructure Life-Cycle Software Architect and contribute to building a holistic view of our infrastructure that integrates directly into our billing, procurement, and other systems. As the architect, you will work across all infrastructure teams, collaborate with architects across other areas of the business, and create and build an architecture that will carry us forward to $5B.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working with distributed systems
• Experience with process and data modeling for large systems
• Experience in designing and maintaining broadly cross functional systems
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Proven ability to convey ideas effectively through verbal and written communication
• Ability to translate business needs into requirements, design documents, and technical solutions
• Knowledge of API design standards, patterns, and best practices
• Proven ability to use data to drive business outcomes
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional design
• Ability to do quick turn-around prototyping to prove or disprove architectural approaches
• Experience with Core Financial ERP tools such as SAP/Oracle and/or architecting data center infrastructure asset management software

• Estimated annual salary of $203,000 - $248,000 for Colorado-based hires and Washington hires
• Estimated annual salary of $230,000 - $281,000 for New York City-based and California (excluding Bay Area) hires
