Remote Microsoft Purview Compliance Delivery Manager

Summary

Join our team as the Compliance Delivery Manager and oversee a diverse team of Purview Architects & Engineers, helping strengthen their technical skills and ensure strong project delivery. You'll manage the delivery team responsible for high-quality Purview deployment projects, develop new Compliance offers to increase client solutions, and help develop client-facing Statements of Work and Budgetary Estimates.

Requirements

• Prior people management experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 & Azure architecture, services, and security best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and security configurations
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, including data governance, compliance management, and risk assessment functionalities. Specific experience strongly recommended and will be thoroughly assessed in technical interviews
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Own the management responsibility of the Compliance delivery practice to increase long-term revenue
• Coach employees how to develop policies and controls for data classification, retention, and protection, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
• Drive new business through offer development and cross-practice collaboration
• Coordinate with different teams to integrate Purview with other Azure services and Microsoft 365 applications
• Provide technical guidance for clients, team members and stakeholders on Microsoft Purview capabilities and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications related to security and compliance
• Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar technologies
• Background in IT compliance, risk management, or related fields
• Experience deploying other Microsoft 365 and Azure tools including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, and more
• CISSP certification
• Relevant Microsoft role-based certifications
