Remote Mobile Device Management Architect

Summary

Join the 2026 Census Test IT (26CT) Integration program as a Senior Integration Specialist to play a key role in laying the groundwork for the design and integration of the technology infrastructure that will underpin the high-profile mission. As an Integration Specialist focused on Mobile Device Management (MDM), you will be responsible for ensuring that the 26CT is fully mobile enabled and an MDM solution that is scaled to support expected test workloads and, importantly, fully analyzed for scalability to support 2030 peak operations.

Requirements

• Primarily remote work arrangement with occasional need for in-person meetings in the DC, MD, and VA area and potential for short term travel to program sites
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance, which involves a background investigation to determine suitability for access to sensitive data
• BA/BS with 5+ years experience leading projects in one of the skill areas above
• Ability to use creative problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all components of the 26CT systems work together seamlessly, efficiently, and securely
• Develop and mature advanced systems that facilitate comprehensive data collection using cloud computing, mobile technology, and data analytics
• Designing and integrating mobile device solutions, field IT infrastructure, and identity management systems to support nationwide data collection
• Developing and implementing an integrated operations center and help desk system to manage and monitor census operations in real-time
• Conducting comprehensive gap analysis and risk assessments to ensure all systems meet operational requirements
• Planning and executing rigorous testing to validate solution interoperability, scalability, and performance under realistic operational conditions
• Collaborating closely with Census Bureau teams and stakeholders to align technical solutions with operational needs
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation and solution architecture design recommendations and providing actionable insights to inform planning for the 2030 Census
