Remote Platform Engineer

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure (compute, storage, networking, security)
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployment strategies, and resource optimization
• Strong skills in Terraform for managing infrastructure
• Proven ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or similar tools
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Loki, and OpenTelemetry
• Understanding of security principles and experience implementing security measures in a cloud environment
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker
• Effective communicator and team player, comfortable working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• English C1 Level: strong communication skills with professional level of proficiency in english

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure
• Develop and improve our Kubernetes-based platform using tools like Helm, Rancher, and ArgoCD
• Enhance and maintain our CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery
• Implement and manage monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, Loki, and OpenTelemetry
• Ensure platform security by implementing and managing security tools and best practices, including Keycloak, Azure KeyVault, and ZeroSSL
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents using PagerDuty
• Collaborate effectively with developers and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide appropriate platform solutions
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of platform architecture, processes, and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Rancher and ArgoCD
• Experience with Keycloak and Azure KeyVault
• Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio)
• Experience in the healthcare or medical industry
• Familiarity with compliance standards like HIPAA
• Contributions to open-source projects
