Senior Platform Engineer, SDLC

Summary

Join Modular's Platform Engineering group as a Senior Platform Engineer and play a pivotal role in enhancing the software development lifecycle. You will shape the developer experience, promote technical excellence, and maintain core development systems, balancing hands-on development with technical leadership. This role requires a strong collaborative spirit and a passion for helping developers succeed. Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience
• Comfort working across languages, tools, and systems—focusing on problem-solving rather than specific technologies
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to share information with internal and external engineering and product teams
• Experience maintaining Kubernetes applications
• Experience building, deploying, and supporting cloud services (bonus points for multi-cloud)
• Experience using open source software components in production
• Alignment with our core company cultural values

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GPUs, either on the infrastructure or application side
