Requirements

  • Positive, proactive, and self-motivated individual
  • Strong interpersonal skill, working equally well as part of a team or alone with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to deliver messages clearly and concisely in line with the recipient’s viewpoint, be that technical, managerial, or strategic
  • Proven experience in a consultancy role
  • Ability to present to audiences and lead customer meetings such as design, requirements gathering or build workshops
  • Experience in demonstrating software products
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Ability to inform and persuade others, understand issues and requirements, and respond with options and recommendations
  • Good knowledge of the Regulatory Services sector, including Environmental Health, Licensing, Housing Enforcement/Assistance and Trading Standards and policies
  • Flexible, with good time management skills; willing to work away from home and work anti-social hours when required
  • Full UK Driving license
  • Experience of creating professional documents for internal or external use

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote and onsite consultancy services, working closely with Civica customers on the implementation of Cx and APP systems
  • Take ownership of customer implementations, ensuring each project is successful, delivered on time, and addressing customer requirements
  • Demonstrate Civica products to customers, offering informed configuration recommendations tailored to their business needs
  • Guide customers through technical integrations between Cx Regulatory Services and other systems, ensuring seamless operations
  • Support data migration efforts, identifying key points in the project where reconciliation may be necessary
  • Install and upgrade Civica software as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards and guidelines
  • Troubleshoot issues, provide testing support, and communicate clear resolutions to customers
  • Act as the face of Civica, upholding our values of knowledge, integrity, and action in every interaction with clients
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve consultancy tasks, contribute to product development, and enhance implementation processes
