Requirements

  • Healthcare data experience is required
  • Strong SQL skills, ability to write, analyze, optimize database queries
  • Some familiarity with Python is desired
  • Experience refining product needs with customers or stakeholders throughout the development process
  • Familiarity with healthcare coding standards (LOINC, SNOMED, etc.) and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare is preferred. Knowledge of healthcare operations, IT applications, data integration, analytics, or standards is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborative Development: Work with product managers, clinical leads, designers, and engineers to prioritize and execute feature development for the Data & Analytics roadmap
  • Customer-Centric Solutions: Understand customer needs, validate solutions, define requirements, and support the rollout of new capabilities
  • Target Audience Insights: Deepen your understanding of target audiences (cancer patients, care teams, pharma clients, internal teams) to identify and solve key problems
  • Strategic Communication: Collaborate with operations, implementation, and marketing teams to guide messaging, communication and rollout strategies for new capabilities
  • Metrics and Analysis: Define, monitor, and analyze product metrics to assess success and recommend improvements

Job Summary

As a Product Manager for the Data Platforms team at Navigating Cancer, you will drive solutions for data and analytics users & key stakeholders, collaborating with a cross-functional team to execute platform priorities. You’ll ensure solutions are valuable (customers use them) and viable (they fit business constraints). By understanding internal and external customers, and key datasets, you will help shape the product roadmap. You’ll also work with other product managers and stakeholders to prioritize data initiatives and capture customer use cases, playing a key role in the company’s ongoing success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborative Development: Work with product managers, clinical leads, designers, and engineers to prioritize and execute feature development for the Data & Analytics roadmap, including NC Insights dashboards, partner performance reporting, and core business analytics
  • Customer-Centric Solutions: Understand customer needs, validate solutions, define requirements, and support the rollout of new capabilities.
  • Target Audience Insights: Deepen your understanding of target audiences (cancer patients, care teams, pharma clients, internal teams) to identify and solve key problems. Use your technical expertise to assess platform constraints, explore solutions, and create value for customers.
  • Strategic Communication: Collaborate with operations, implementation, and marketing teams to guide messaging, communication and rollout strategies for new capabilities.
  • Metrics and Analysis: Define, monitor, and analyze product metrics to assess success and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of software product management experience in an agile environment.
  • Data analysis work at a software company, with hands-on experience working with product analytics metrics and reporting tools like Tableau, Metabase, PowerBI, etc.
  • Healthcare data experience is required, with a strong preference for expertise in pharmaceutical data related to drug utilization, clinical trials, or similar domains.
  • Strong SQL skills, ability to write, analyze, optimize database queries.
  • Some familiarity with Python is desired
  • Experience refining product needs with customers or stakeholders throughout the development process.
  • Familiarity with healthcare coding standards (LOINC, SNOMED, etc.) and interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR, etc.) preferred
  • Experience with data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare is preferred. Knowledge of healthcare operations, IT applications, data integration, analytics, or standards is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to build rapport with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

This position is full-time & 100% remote, with the option to come into our Seattle and/or Nashville corporate offices on a voluntary basis for local employees. Base Salary Range: $120,000/yr - $140,000/yr + 10% Corporate Bonus.
