Requirements

  • Advanced clinical degree (MD, PharmD, BSN, APRN, etc.)
  • Strong experience and domain expertise in healthcare and preferably value-based care
  • Prior experience in clinical informatics and/or clinical content management and working with clinical ontologies (SNOMED, RxNorm, ICD-10, LOINC, etc...)
  • Prior experience leading multiple highly complex data projects, with a proven track record for successful and timely delivery
  • Proficient with project management principles and tools, able to handle multiple competing program needs and deliverables under tight deadlines
  • Strong technical and analytical abilities, with a problem-solving mindset, to help define metrics and interpret analyses with the health economics and data science teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build relationships in a matrixed organization
  • Proven ability to partner directly with external clients to manage data specifications and deliverables
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and capable of articulating technical and business needs to diverse audiences

Responsibilities

  • Work across data science teams and collaborate with Clinical, Health Economics, Growth, and Operations teams to identify opportunities to improve the quality of care, reduce low-value utilization, and monitor the efficacy and value of Thyme Care’s products and services in the management of cancer patients
  • Stand up Thyme Care’s informatics and clinical content infrastructure by developing program population definitions leveraging standard vocabularies, including the appropriate policies and procedures to maintain these definitions across our various partner contracts
  • Identify and evaluate potential content sources to enhance our end-user experience and define and implement the use of existing ontologies and vocabularies for Thyme Care products and services
  • Lead external engagements with potential and current partners and collaborate with our Health Economics team to align on key clinical metrics, implement and optimize our interventions, and provide guidance on a variety of clinical initiatives across the organization
