Job Description

Senior Project Manager - Experian Health

Reporting to the PMO, the Senior Project Manager, Implementations is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects. You will ensure consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. You will manage multiple revenue cycle software implementations for healthcare clients ensuring important goals and project scopes are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning and manage multiple, ongoing software implementations
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop full scale project plans
  • Assemble and coordinate project staff
  • Plan and schedule project timelines
  • Track project deliverables and manage risk & issues using appropriate tools
  • Provide direction to project team
  • Monitor and report on progress of the project to all partners
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project goals
  • Project evaluations and assessment of results
  • Provide feedback to internal team and development regarding process and product improvement

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as Project Manager in Healthcare I.T. and Healthcare Revenue Cycle
  • 2+ years leading full life cycle implementations in healthcare
  • PMP required (or must obtain within 1 year of employment)
  • Healthcare industry experience facilitating in-depth knowledge of hospital operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics or related field or study
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management
  • Collaboration skills, flexibility and responsiveness
  • 10-25% nationwide travel
