Summary

Join us as Regional Medical Director at Rula, where you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our mission of making mental health care accessible and effective for everyone. You will report to the National Medical Director and function with a high degree of independence, leading a team of virtual, California-based Nurse Practitioners, practicing MDs/DOs and Supervising Physicians on the Psychiatric Services team.

Requirements

  • Board certified / board eligible MD or DO in General Adult Psychiatry
  • An active license in good standing in California
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct clinical practice post-graduate training
  • A minimum of 5 years in clinical leadership that includes overseeing licensed psychiatric clinicians including both ANPs and MD/DOs

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the rollout of new psychiatric & clinical programs, training, and quality initiatives for the California psychiatry practice in collaboration with Business, Legal, and Operations leadership
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship for your clinical teams, maintain a culture of transparency, accountability and quality, and serve as a point of escalation for patient care issues related psychiatric services, identifying and solving root cause issues if and as they arise
  • Have a seat at the table with executive leaders, executing a critical piece of our company strategy and reshaping mental healthcare in our country

Preferred Qualifications

  • Child and Adolescent trained
  • Board certification in Child and Adolescent psychiatry is preferred
