Remote Research Manager

Join Murphy Research as a Research Manager to assist in project development, execution, and analysis, working with Fortune 500 companies across diverse industries.

Requirements

• 2+ years of market research experience
• Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative methods
• B.A. or M.A. in related field (psychology, anthropology, sociology, preferred)
• Great verbal and written communication skills; comfortable managing client relationships and vendor communications on behalf of the Company
• Problem-solving skills are points of strength, and you thrive when challenged by new opportunities

Responsibilities

• Manage projects holistically from questionnaire design to final report writing
• Use discretion in decision-making to keep projects moving forward, executing each stage of the project process against project deadlines while responsible for project budget
• Collaborate with a team of researchers to lead study progress; manage, mentor, and train Research Associates on your project teams, while also consulting with senior researchers and leadership for your guidance as you grow your own experience and skill
• Work with large data sets, so an eye for detail is key; proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint will definitely come in handy! (bonus points for skills in SPSS, R, InDesign, Keynote)
