Remote Risk Analyst

Join us at Check, where we're building payroll businesses together with our partners and making paying people simple. As a contract Risk Analyst, you'll review accounts for onboarding and regulatory compliance, ensuring minimal risk and improving our systems.

Requirements

• Have 1 - 3 years of experience in risk and fraud operations or similar fintech role
• Excellent time management and prioritization
• Be a highly motivated self-starter, comfortable working within a high-risk environment
• Have strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Execute company review and payroll monitoring, working efficiently with attention to detail and clear communication both internally and externally with partners and customers
• Escalate potential fraud incidents to appropriate teams, documenting learnings and resolving action items

• The hourly compensation for this role is dependent on each candidate’s experience, qualifications, and work location
• We offer competitive hourly rates: $32-$35 in San Francisco, NYC, LA, and Seattle; $28-$31 elsewhere
