Requirements

  • Qualifications: Degree in Tourism and Travel Business
  • Languages: Fluent in English and French
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PDF), organized, able to prioritize tasks, and work under pressure
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years as a Sales Assistant, with experience in Inbound Travel in Europe being a plus

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with Internal Departments: Ensure that requested services are booked and confirmed within the required deadlines when a group is materialized
  • Manage Itineraries: Make necessary amendments to itineraries and rooming lists, handling changes and cancellations smoothly
  • Maintain Communication: Keep in close contact with local offices and direct clients to ensure seamless operations
  • Prepare Documentation: Ensure all necessary documents are prepared and sent to clients well before their departure
  • Product Development: Assist the Destination and Direct Sales Manager in developing new and exciting travel products
  • IT Proficiency: Utilize company IT systems to effectively follow up on tours
  • Multitask Efficiently: Handle multiple files simultaneously, ensuring efficient and proactive communication with clients and destination offices
  • Ensure Prepayments: Make sure each confirmed group is fully prepaid on time unless credit facilities are available
  • Enrich Client Profiles: Gather additional information from clients to enhance their profiles in the CRM database
  • Accurate Reporting: Provide precise information to the Destination and Direct Sales Manager, keeping them informed of any payment issues or operational problems
