Requirements

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer
  • 3+ years of experience working on multiple projects/products
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong in AWS, GitLab, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Extensive experience working on AWS tools such as Lambda, API Gateways, CloudWatch, ECS, Kinesis, and especially Kafka
  • Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
  • Extensive experience with EKS and multi zone deployment
  • Experience in building and automating CI/CD pipelines, and good IAC Knowledge
  • Deep knowledge of multiple cloud platforms, advanced automation techniques, extensive experience in architecting and scaling the infrastructure, and a strong understanding of DevOps best practices and methodologies
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture
  • Basic Elastic Search Knowledge
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and contribute to the management of the cloud infrastructure solutions that align with the company’s objectives and cloud strategy
  • Collaborate with development teams to automate and optimize cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure a seamless infrastructure-as-code (IaC) environment
  • Enforce best practices for cloud security, including managing access controls, monitoring security compliance, and conducting regular security assessments
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify optimization opportunities, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on performance or security
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning and execution, ensuring data integrity and availability across all cloud services
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and trends to recommend and implement improvements to the cloud infrastructure
  • Contribute to the management of the organization’s on-premises servers, storage, and networking appliances, ensuring their optimal performance, security, and integration with cloud services
  • Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades of on-premises infrastructure to meet security standards and operational requirements
