Senior Finance Analyst

Summary

Join Wing's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as a Senior Finance Analyst to drive financial consolidation and reporting, lead annual planning processes, and spearhead process optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a directly related field or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A
• Proven track record of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting (GAAP or IFRS)
• Comfort dealing with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with a passion for synthesizing complex data into a clear storyline
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills with a desire to actively contribute to our work culture

Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end financial consolidation process for the company, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of consolidated financial results
• Develop and maintain standardized consolidation processes and procedures
• Analyze financial results, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for management and coordinate review and alignment with cross-functional stakeholders
• Spearhead the annual planning process, developing input templates and streamlined consolidation tools, while fostering collaboration among stakeholders to drive timely and accurate contributions
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial processes
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Leverage systems and tools to optimize financial reporting and analysis
• Support the Finance organization with top class, ad hoc reporting, often with a quick turnaround and for a senior audience
