Requirements

  • Proven professional experience (typically 5+ years) in the relevant field of Finance
  • Successfully completed degree in Finance (Business / Accounting / Data)
  • Fluency in German (C1) and English
  • In-depth knowledge of international accounting principles and financial reporting requirements; and / or Tax
  • Confident proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Initiative, assertiveness and ability to work in a team and under pressure
  • Flexibility, commitment and high motivation
  • Forwardness, strong communication skills as well as goal and implementation orientation
  • Adaptability, pragmatism and β€œhands-on” mentality
  • Experience in managing projects and enjoyment in moving things independently and completing them independently

Responsibilities

  • Independently prepare monthly reports for stakeholders and shareholders
  • Drive annual financial statements together with external tax office
  • Prepare and support the preparation of business evaluations
  • Provide project management support for Finance system introduction
  • (Pro-)actively participate in the day-to-day operations of our Finance department
  • Communicate with tax consultants, banks and other external service providers
  • Steer and manage external advisors for financial process optimization
  • Prepare monthly and yearly close under IFRS
  • Serve as a sparring partner for management and internal business partnering for stakeholders
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive process improvements and best-practice introduction
  • Drive special projects

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified / qualified chartered accountant and/or trained tax advisor
  • Corporate Finance and Law background as well as international inter-company experience
