Requirements
- Proven professional experience (typically 5+ years) in the relevant field of Finance
- Successfully completed degree in Finance (Business / Accounting / Data) - certified / qualified chartered accountant and/or trained tax advisor is a plus
- Fluent in German (C1) and English
- In-depth knowledge of international accounting principles and financial reporting requirements; and / or Tax
- Corporate Finance and Law background as well as international inter-company experience
- Confident proficiency in MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Initiative, assertiveness and ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Flexibility, commitment and high motivation
- Forwardness, strong communication skills as well as goal and implementation orientation
- Adaptability, pragmatism and βhands-onβ mentality
- Experience in managing projects and enjoyment in moving things independently and completing them independently
Responsibilities
- Independent preparation of monthly reports for stakeholders and shareholders
- Driving annual financial statements together with external tax office
- Preparation and support for the preparation of business evaluations
- Project management support for Finance system introduction
- (Pro-)active participation in the day-to-day operations of our Finance department
- Communication with tax consultants, banks and other external service providers
- Steering and management of external advisors for financial process optimization
- Preparation of monthly and yearly close under IFRS
- Sparring partner for management and internal business partnering for stakeholders
- Collaboration with colleagues to drive process improvements and best-practice introduction
- Driving special projects
Preferred Qualifications
Controlling expertise as well as debt and credit financing background is a plus
