Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio that includes case studies demonstrating your design process and impact, particularly in CAD software or related fields
• Proven experience in leading design projects as an individual contributor with a deep understanding of user-centered design principles
• Familiarity with CAD tools and workflows, and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by users in architecture, technical drafting, or automotive engineering
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite) and experience with prototyping and design systems
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

• Lead the design strategy for our CAD software application, ensuring a user-centered approach throughout the product lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to define user requirements and design innovative solutions
• Conduct in-depth user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and validate concepts
• Create and maintain design system assets, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that communicate design intentions effectively
• Present design concepts and case studies to stakeholders, articulating design rationale and gathering constructive feedback
