Summary
Join dLocal, a global payments company, as a Senior UX Designer and lead the UX design process for main products, focusing on transactional products and top merchant conversion rates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and user needs into effective user experiences. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from gathering requirements to evaluating business impact. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent and demonstrable work experience)
- +5 years of experience working in digital products as a UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and product lifecycle
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to translate data into actionable and scalable insights
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing techniques
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with product management tasks
Responsibilities
- Lead the UX design process throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that the solutions support the companyโs overall strategy and goals
- Communicate with different stakeholders to gather and prioritize product and customer requirements
- Collaborate with global teams across engineering and product management to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to illustrate design concepts and interactions
- Create user journey maps, and other UX artifacts to inform the design process
- Conduct and evaluate quantitative and qualitative user research, to gather insights and validate design decisions
- Work closely with developers to ensure feasibility and assist in the implementation of UI elements
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle
- Evaluate and measure the business impact of design and product solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading teams and defining product strategies
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Knowledge and understanding of the payments industry and emerging markets context
- Proficiency in utilizing metric tools, analyzing performance, and optimizing conversion funnels
