Remote Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and mentor a high performing Platform Reliability Engineering team
• Reduce manual toil and risk by leading reliability and automation efforts for Fastly’s edge cloud platform
• Proactively identify scaling bottlenecks. Collaborate with internal engineering and infrastructure teams in support of rapid platform expansion
• Work as part of a cross functional engineering team for iteration of POP design, new hardware selection, and platform advancements
• Build and curate the frameworks, processes, and operational procedures that provide added reliability and security to Fastly’s platform
• Partner with engineering leaders responsible for each component of the Fastly stack and infrastructure to ensure 24x7 reliability for our customers
