Senior Mechanical Engineer

Requirements

• You have a successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable education
• You already have 5+ years of experience in the mechanical development of consumer products
• You are qualified in using 3D design programs (ideally SolidWorks)
• Ideally, you are familiar with simulations (e.g. CFD, FEM) and/or have knowledge of Lilon battery development
• You have very good English skills

Responsibilities

• Designing mechanical solutions for our products
• Ensuring functionality, manufacturability and compliance with specifications in an early stage
• Investigating the mechanical behavior of components with the help of common simulation tools
• Planning tests and validations and supporting their execution with your expertise
• Finding creative solutions for complex mechanical issues by using your experience in development and industrialization of consumer products
• Acting proactively as a point of contact for internal and external interfaces
