Requirements

  • Bare-metal servers

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Innervate's operational and technical functions related to its systems and networks
  • Consult senior-level stakeholders to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology
  • Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
  • Implement processes and programs to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Set goals and deliverables based upon targets set forth in internal budgets
  • Coordinate and review computer system capabilities and requirements, communicating to senior management
  • Provide direction, scheduling, and training to operations staff
  • Define site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envision system features and functionality
  • Train employees to support users by developing documentation and assistance tools
  • Implement monitoring and observability strategies with Nagios, Prometheus (p8s), Grafana, ELK stack and external monitoring in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Develop unique PaaS and SaaS solutions at all stages of processing for Innervate project
  • Manage the troubleshooting potential and actual flaws to systems and network infrastructure running various Linux distributions

REQUIRED EDUCATION:  Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: At least TWO (2) years of experience in the job offered, or at least TWO (2) years of experience with the following:

1, Implementing processes and programs to improve productivity and efficiency of an IT company

2. Implementing monitoring and observability strategies with Nagios, Prometheus (p8s), Grafana, ELK stack and external monitoring in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

OTHER: Company headquarters & Interview site: 981 Industrial Road, Suite D, San Carlos, CA 94070. Wage range: $121,500.00-$130,000.00 per year.  If offered employment must have legal right to work in U.S.  EOE.
