Remote Senior Software Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer in a production environment
• Proficient in building microservices and web APIs while following best practices
• Proficient with the cloud-related software technologies of AWS
• Proficient with developing and deploying microservices to Kubernetes environments
• Proficient with Python
• Experience with the web framework FastAPI
• Proficient with PostgreSQL
• Proactive and self-motivated team player
• Experience with building prototypes and gathering/implementing feedback
• Higher education degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics
• Able to obtain a Security+ certification within 90 days of employment with Raft

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the development and scaling of microservices and APIs
• Leverage AWS and Python expertise
• Be a self-starter and present new ideas and concepts in support of the project
