Remote Senior Software Engineer, Platform Engineering

As a member of the Platform Engineering team, you will enable software engineers to build, test, and deploy Lime products globally at scale through resilient infrastructure and high-quality developer and data science tooling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry professional software development experience
• Skilled at writing logical and maintainable code, and providing clear feedback in code reviews
• Owner’s mindset. You’re a self-starter and get things across the finish line
• Strong influencer. You motivate and empower your team to go above and beyond
• Technical proficiency to understand and contribute to the design and implementation of projects and ideas
• Excellent communication and effective prioritization skills in working with competing priorities

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, and solve strategically essential technical problems
• Maintain and improve security controls to ensure compliance with SOX and other relevant regulations
• Support audits and due diligence processes related to infrastructure
• Advise Lime’s leadership team on key technology adoption and process improvements
• Contribute to infrastructure changes through GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a pre-IPO or public company environment
• Operating Ruby on Rails in a cloud environment for 2+ years
