Requirements

  • 6+ years of development experience, writing code in Go, Python, Javascript or C++
  • 3+ years of experience designing, building, implementing, integrating and maintaining IAM and configuration management technologies in an enterprise environment
  • Experience with information security, networking and/or systems administration
  • Experience working with web and mobile client integrations for implementing authentication and authorization flows
  • Experience with various IDP solutions and frameworks such as Duo, Auth0, Okta, Ory
  • Experience implementing OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and identity flows provided by IDP integrations
  • Bring a strong command of Golang, Kubernetes, GitOps, Trunk Based Development, CI/CD and platform technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, information security, computer science, or computer engineering
  • Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred)
  • Proven experience influencing and mentoring other members of the Engineering team
  • Proven experience providing solutions for process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Build developer-facing tooling and infrastructure that creates developer satisfaction and improves development velocity
  • Define, document and build golden paths for teams to build services in a scalable, secure way
  • Have experience in identity access management and governance, to include single sign-on, identity federation, lifecycle management, enterprise directory architecture and design, and resource provisioning
  • Architect complex IAM systems which span multiple organizations, challenging requirements and ensuring appropriate access to mission-critical systems
  • Work with teams across the company to gather requirements, support and drive projects forward
  • Provide guidance and unblock others on the team while helping others grow through code reviews
  • Make good, informed decisions around technical debt and tradeoffs
  • Work to understand the purpose of the features the team is working on and help communicate that purpose to team members. Ask clarifying questions when expectations are unclear to ensure alignment
  • Regularly think about the scrum team's processes and share solutions for improvements with peers and management
