Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain systems and storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
  • Optimize system and storage performance through monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
  • Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to systems and storage infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technology solutions aligned with business needs
  • Lead projects related to systems and storage infrastructure, ensuring successful delivery within scope and timelines
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools and methodologies
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during off-hours as needed
  • Deliver: Ensure high availability and reliability of systems and storage infrastructure to meet business requirements
  • Implement robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions with minimal downtime and data loss
  • Lead successful project delivery, meeting objectives and timelines
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures
  • Foster a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals

Your responsibilities will include designing and deploying solutions, optimizing performance, and providing technical leadership within the team. Do:

I’m interested…is this the job for me? We are looking for:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in systems and storage engineering roles.
  • Deep expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting systems and storage infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with SAN/NAS solutions, such as NetApp, EMC, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of backup and recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault, etc.) and disaster recovery principles.
  • Hands-on experience with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Ansible, etc.).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within scope and timelines.

Pay Range:ย $125,000 - $145,000/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
