Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience Leading Projects and Delivering Solutions Through Completion
  • 2+ years working in a Public Cloud environment
  • 3+ years managing and deploying Windows OS Servers preferably in a production environment
  • 3+ years managing and deploying Windows domains, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS and IIS
  • 3+ years performing and management of OS patching
  • 3+ years installing/configuring server hardware and OS
  • 5+ years managing and deploying virtual environments
  • 2+ years managing physical storage and SAN
  • 3+ years managing and deploying blade servers/Enterprise Compute
  • 3+ years hands on experience with engineering operations or enterprise operations
  • Experience successfully working in fast paced, production environments
  • Experience working within a team of IT professionals; taking and following direction and completing tasks and assignments in a timely manner with a positive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have good attention to detail, and the ability to make good, timely decisions
  • Be a Team-player, have a positive attitude and able to work with a distributed team in multiple time zones
  • Knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP and SNMP
  • Be a self-starter who is proactive, motivated and can work independently
  • Experience with Chef or similar technologies

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deploy Windows Domain and Active Directory environment
  • Deploy Servers
  • Deploy and Manage Public Cloud Compute and Storage Set up and maintain server system and file security
  • Manage Lab and Production Infrastructure
  • Performing OS level Patching
  • Performing Systems and Hardware Level Upgrades
  • Deploy, Configure and Maintain Physical Storage (SAN)
  • Monitor and optimize performance of servers
  • Manage Virtualization Environments
  • Maintain documentation of Environment and Processes
  • Work with vendors to troubleshoot problems and RMA parts as needed
  • Manage and deploy Linux server installations
  • Participating in an on-call rotation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Configuration and management of HP Enterprise Servers and/or Cisco UCS
  • Experience working with config management and automation technologies
  • Comfortable working with changing timelines and deadlines
  • Experience working with CloudFormation
  • Experience with Linux Server deployment and administration
  • Experience working in a global production environment
