Join our client's dynamic agency as a Social Media Content Creator and contribute to impactful branding and social media strategies. This fully remote position (9 AM - 5 PM PST) requires designing and editing engaging content for Meta, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. You will manage content posting, engage with the online community, and stay updated on social media trends. Success involves creating high-quality, engaging content, growing the online community, and maintaining a consistent posting schedule. The ideal candidate possesses strong design skills, agency experience, and proficiency in Canva.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in social media content creation, ideally within an agency setting
- Proficiency in Canva is required
- Strong design sense with the ability to create visually appealing and attention-grabbing content (static posts, reels, graphics, etc.)
- Task-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Up-to-date with social media best practices, insights, and trends
- Fluent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with online communities and team members
Responsibilities
- Design static posts, social media graphics, and edit reels/videos using provided raw assets and copywriting. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and captures the intended message
- Handle posting and scheduling of content across Meta, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, following the content calendar and maintaining consistency in brand voice
- Actively respond to comments, messages, and questions on social media platforms, fostering an engaged online community
- Stay informed on social media trends, insights, and best practices to help optimize engagement and effectiveness of content
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CapCut or similar video editing tools
