Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS, or a related field
  • 2 years' experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., support, project management, requirements gathering)
  • 5 years' experience with JDA/Blue Yonder WMS/WLM configuration (e.g., new warehouse setup, reconfiguration)
  • 3 years’ experience in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or similar)
  • 5 years’ experience troubleshooting integrations and performing MOCA tracing
  • 5 years’ experience with JDA/Blue Yonder custom development (e.g., integration, MOCA, Java components, MTF forms, Vocollect, iReports, page builder)
  • Experience managing and optimizing the software development lifecycle using Azure DevOps, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and work item tracking
  • Experience with SQL Database Server, Integrator, and Reporting
  • Solid knowledge of warehouse operations
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience with SQL and writing complex queries
  • Experience with MS Windows operating systems
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical escalation point for complex incidents and promptly resolve client issues related to Blue Yonder WMS/WLM
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve issues involving system configuration, Integration, MOCA tracing, SQL queries, and overall system performance
  • Implement necessary code changes, customizations, and configurations to meet evolving client requirements
  • Support ongoing system maintenance, including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning
  • Provide monitoring and proactive support to ensure the stability and optimal performance of Blue Yonder environments
  • Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, code documentation, and system configurations
  • Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure continuous system improvements and to address evolving business needs
  • Participate in root cause analysis for recurring issues and contribute to long-term solutions

We are looking for a Software Architect for the Open Sky Groups Managed Services team. In this hybrid role, you will serve as a key escalation point for technical support issues while also contributing to custom development and system enhancements. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve complex problems, implement code changes, and optimize the Blue Yonder WMS platform. This position requires both a strong understanding of development within Blue Yonder and the ability to troubleshoot and support ongoing system challenges.

As part of the managed services group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring system stability and delivering timely solutions to client issues. Your responsibilities will range from monitoring system performance and troubleshooting integration problems to making code modifications and developing custom solutions as needed.

Additional Skills, Abilities and Attributes

  • Experience with Salesforce development is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle Database is a plus.
  • Experience with Körber WMS, in addition to Blue Yonder WMS, is a plus.

Work Location and Travel

  • Must be authorized to work in the US. Can live anywhere in the US.
  • This is a home-based, full-time, exempt role.
  • This position requires the ability to travel up to 10% by airplane and/or car, with overnights.

Annual salary range: $80,000-$125,000

The salary range information provided reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses, and other relevant factors.
