Remote Software Engineer

Summary

Join Mindex as a Software Engineer and contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing software applications. Work alongside other engineers in an agile environment to devise innovative solutions and elevate technology.

Requirements

• AS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area preferred
• 3-5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and experience working with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms

Responsibilities

• Assists in determining customer requirements using problem analysis and critical thinking skills
• Defines and develops clear problem statements that represent customers’ needs and requirements in collaboration with Sr. Software Engineers/Principal Engineer
• Design and develop technical software solutions including software architecture
• Contribute to examining systems flow, data usage, and work processes
• Writes and performs testing that aligns with a methodology, assists in determining the scope for testing requirements agreed-upon by the team or business unit
• Documents each aspect of an application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance
• Identifies bugs and assists the senior team members in the development process to fix bugs and address customer concerns
