Requirements

  • 10+ years developing complex software for the web in multiple languages with multiple components/services
  • Experience in a player/coach role, both leading development teams and writing software

Responsibilities

  • Mentor other engineers to ensure our product and team members are growing
  • Identify opportunities to improve in support of our product roadmap
  • Create ADRs, RFCs, and other supporting documents to ensure technical decisions are well-considered, clear, and recorded so we have context and trust in what we’re doing
  • Contribute directly on the Zenput platform, including web and mobile UI’s, commenting and messaging, webhooks and APIs, as well as expand capabilities in our mobile applications
  • Work in an agile environment, scoping work to enable tight feedback loops on what’s working and what’s not
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Eng Managers on plans for iterative improvements
  • Maximize long-term velocity and minimize risk by using and educating on TDD, CI and other DevOps best practices
