Requirements

  • A Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree from an ABET accredited program in Engineering, Physical Science, or Computer Science from a college or university
  • May substitute Education requirement with 20 years’ experience in a mounted vehicle system operational environment employing networked C5ISR systems in combat or
  • 10 years’ experience writing or developing requirements for mounted vehicle network systems
  • A minimum total of seven years’ experience in analysis, development, evaluation, integration, or test of DoD or automotive component or systems including a minimum of five years’ experience in analysis, development, evaluation, integration, and test of U.S. military ground vehicle systems

Responsibilities

  • Conduct requirements analysis for Capability Production Document, Performance Specifications, Subsystem, and Component Specifications
  • Lead technical planning activities and systems engineering process development and execution
  • Develop system functional and performance requirements, including verification processes
  • Create architecture design models and artifacts for advanced concepts
  • Develop interface control documentation and ensure proper interface management
  • Prepare and deliver high-level briefings in response to requests for information
  • Provide systems engineering advice and feasibility assessments for new design concepts

We are currently seeking an experienced Systems Engineer in support of the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS).The Systems Engineer will support the development and management of assigned programs through various life cycle phases. This role involves systems engineering analysis, risk management, and architecture development to ensure hardware and software configurations meet operational and performance requirements. This position will provide high-level engineering expertise, offering design recommendations, and delivering technical briefings to guide program execution and alignment with evolving standards.
