Requirements

• Possess a desire for a career in public accounting
• Hold a CPA License, EA or passing grades on all four parts of the CPA Exam
• Have an Undergraduate degree in Accounting or equivalent, Masters in Taxation is a plus
• Have ideally 3-5 years’ experience or equivalent in tax preparation & review in a public accounting firm
• Possess excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership and trust income tax returns
• Manage current engagements and provide detailed technical review of staff work papers
• Juggle multiple complex engagements and provide timely deliverables
• Maintain excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Demonstrate strong tax research skills
• Show knowledge of QuickBooks. Experience with other accounting software a plus
• Serve as a client’s “trusted advisor”, combining knowledge and practical experience with a wide array of financial matters that affect our clients and the ability to advise them on these issues
• Direct client contact with a mind on keeping clients satisfied throughout the engagement

Benefits

• Competitive Bay Area salary, Salary range: $90,000.00 to $120,000. The pay range reflects the San Francisco Bay Area. Compensation will be adjusted for each candidate based on their geographic location
