Remote Teaching Assistant - Cybersecurity

Join us and let's shape the AI Economy together! Teaching Assistants (TAs) play a critical role in teaching ~25-30 learners (as part of a larger class) in Correlation One’s virtual Cybersecurity training program.

Requirements

• One year of professional experience in the Cybersecurity field with a degree or approved credentials
• Previous teaching or learner support experience, ideally in a remote environment
• Post-secondary degree or other credentials in Cybersecurity or a related field
• CompTIA Security+ certification

Responsibilities

• Participate in all live lectures, providing helpful and fast responses via Slack
• Host breakout rooms as needed
• Provide up to 6 hours of individual office hour sessions for Fellows each week
• Work with fellow TAs and Lead Instructors on ways to improve the learner experience
• Host review sessions, lab sessions, or other support mechanisms to ensure the progress and satisfaction of your Fellows
• Respond to your fellows’ questions and messages on Slack within 24 hours
• Attend a week TA meeting with C1 staff members
• Grade your Fellows’ submissions, providing feedback and ongoing learning support

Benefits

• Base salary = $3,375 (Part-Time TA)
• Performance bonus = Up to $1,125 (Part-Time TA)
• Office hours are paid separately at $45/hr (Part-Time TA)
• Base salary = $9,703.13 (Full-Time TA)
• Performance bonus = $3,234.38 (Full-Time TA)
• Office hours are paid separately at $45/hr (Full-Time TA)
