Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant product management experience in software, preferably with experience in scaled consumer-facing subscription services with a freemium or multi-pricing tier membership business model
- 5+ years experience managing a team of product managers, and preferably experience managing a mix of managers and individual contributors in a hybrid environment across global time zones
- Must have significant experience with key product management functions, including writing requirements/user stories, creating mocks/wireframes, product planning and reporting for large scale, consumer-facing applications
- Track record in successfully defining and developing product features from inception to launch which meet customer jobs to be done that have high engagement in a scaled consumer app
- Hands on experience in agile and/or Lean development and methodology, preferably having participated in large-scale transformation and change management within an enterprise
- Must have commercial aptitude and be an expert at navigating white space
- Strong leadership and influencing skills. Able to manage multiple relationships and build consensus across various groups
- Key qualitative attributes: blend of critical and creative thinking; outstanding communications; inspires and works well with others; goes the extra mile in getting things done right; at ease working across team boundaries; and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business/Marketing, or a technical field preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop the execution of the Product Vision, Product Strategy and Growth plan for the Membership product domain
- Accountable to the Membership P&L and KPIs, and collaborate with business leaders and product peers to ideate, define, and prioritize unique features for consumers that promote engagement and reduce churn
- Execute the product roadmap with northstar performance indicators around customer effort score, net promoter score, and effectiveness in driving consumer financial health improvement
- Champion OKRs, product initiatives, and business cases to executive management team for prioritization and development across Experian business units
- Drive the connection between Membership and Experian's Marketplace business line in the larger Experian.com and Experian mobile app product ecosystem with Product leadership peers
- Manage the full lifecycle of product development from market requirements to product release, including but not limited to: concept, consumer research, assumption validation, scope, specification, design, prioritization, implementation, business acceptance testing, deployment, go-to-market, maintenance, and analytics
- Stay on top of the competitive landscape, industry trends, strategic partner capabilities, and internal capabilities
- Directly manage our 3rd party strategic service partners to scope, phase, and integrate features to our requirements
- Ensure that our products and services are regulatory and partner-compliant, and engage Legal, Compliance, and InfoSec in the definition of business standards for each new solution
- Lead and mentor a team of Product Managers. Steer them through a transformation towards the adoption of the Product Operating Model with emphasis on cross functional collaboration and product discovery methods to meet OKRs by partnering with peer leaders in Product Design, Engineering, Delivery Management, Marketing, and other business teams
- Work closely with Technology leaders and teams to determine plans for product implementation and deployments with business partners
- Set operational standards, processes, and procedures for the ongoing operation of products with the relevant operation teams
- Partner with Marketing to drive go-to-market strategies to acquire new customers into Experian membership
