Remote Vulnerability Management Engineer

Summary

Join Experian's Digital Workplace team as a Vulnerability Manager to conduct regular vulnerability assessments, manage and deploy patches, and ensure compliance with security standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in vulnerability management, patch management, or a related role
• Proficiency in Patch My PC, Intune, and SCCM
• Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to security

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools and methodologies to identify security weaknesses
• Utilize Patch My PC, Intune, and SCCM to manage and deploy patches across various systems and applications
• Develop and implement remediation plans to address identified vulnerabilities, ensuring resolution
• Continuously monitor systems for vulnerabilities and generate detailed reports on the status of vulnerabilities and remediation efforts
• Work closely with IT, security, and development teams to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed promptly and effectively
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of vulnerability management processes, procedures, and remediation actions
