Summary

Join Samsara, a pioneer in the Connected Operations™ Cloud, as a Renewal Account Executive. This role is crucial for achieving renewal targets for commercial and mid-market accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring customer success while maximizing financial results by minimizing attrition, securing favorable terms, identifying growth opportunities, and closing 36-month renewal deals. The position requires experience in full-cycle sales, a proven track record of exceeding quotas, and strong communication skills. Samsara offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, bonus, RSUs, and benefits. This role is open to US residents excluding specific states and areas. You will work cross-functionally and contribute to a high-performance team environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of full cycle closing sales experience, ideally working with mid-sized businesses in a high transaction environment
  • A track record of consistent quota over-achievement
  • Comfort with a rapidly changing, high-growth environment
  • Empathy for customers and team members
  • Highly organized
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Own 50+ renewal engagements per quarter from end-to-end
  • Exceed sales targets
  • Work cross-functionally, especially with Customer Success Managers and Account Executives, to strategically solve problems, upsell, and ensure a successful, smooth renewal
  • Proactively identify and contribute to material improvements in how the team functions
  • Contribute to an exceptional team environment that motivates the team to perform at its best
  • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
