Summary

Join Experience.com as a Research Analyst in our ETL team, based remotely in India. You will support the data acquisition team by building and maintaining source lists across various industries. This role involves extensive web research, data analysis, and collaboration to improve data collection and normalization. Requirements

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, such as research, data collection, or lead generation
  • Have proven experience conducting web research and collecting data across various business categories and verticals
  • Be familiar with web research tools, techniques, and search engines
  • Be proficient in using MS Office (Excel, Word) and Google Sheets for data management and reporting
  • Have strong internet research skills and the ability to find and utilize diverse online resources
  • Have the ability to innovate and enhance search methods for better lead generation
  • Have proven ability to plan, track, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with peers and management
  • Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to adapt to different personalities and professional settings
  • Have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently implement and execute plans effectively
  • Be detail-oriented, with a passion for continuous learning and self-improvement

Responsibilities

  • Perform extensive web research to identify the most relevant and high-quality sources for bulk data collection using appropriate keywords
  • Evaluate and analyze metadata from various sources to determine data quality and suitability
  • Collaborate with the team to provide insights for crawler development and data normalization processes
  • Assist in developing data models based on metadata availability across different industries
  • Conduct thorough online research using search engines to gather information about businesses, organizations, and individuals
  • Identify and collect contact information, such as job titles, email addresses, and phone numbers, for targeted business entities
  • Utilize platforms like LinkedIn, Google, and other online databases for industry, sector, or personnel research
  • Continuously explore innovative ways to expand and update data sources and leads

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience in data scraping, data normalization, or data modelling
  • Be familiar with data analysis tools like Python, R, or SQL
  • Have knowledge of industry-specific data sources or platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo)
  • Have a basic understanding of data modeling concepts
  • Have expertise in utilizing AI tools like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and other large language models (LLMs) to drive automation, enhance content creation, and improve decision-making processes
