Summary
Join Precision Medicine Group as a Research Analyst to generate standard reports and conduct primary research on key opinion leaders and oncology provider access. You will develop expertise in data assets, innovating quality control and automation. Essential functions include building deliverables in PowerPoint and Excel, identifying and collecting profile information from various sources, collaborating with US teams, documenting research processes, preparing data summaries, researching life science product data, remediating data quality issues, researching and classifying oncology treatment pathway data, preparing monthly assessments, and applying quality assurance best practices. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 1-2 years of experience are required. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office Suite, and excellent communication skills are essential.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree required in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering, or related discipline
- 1-2 years relevant work experience (relevant internships will be considered)
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Skills with navigating major social networks (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok)
- Experience working with medium to large data sets
- Strong MS Office Suite Skills
- High level of MS Excel and PowerPoint proficiency including formulas, data tool, and infographics
- Internet search engines and proficiencies in developing queries
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including ability to present technical concepts to lay audiences, write analysis plans for projects, pitch ideas and influence internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively to solve complex problems and individually to research/advance areas of interest and exploration
Responsibilities
- Build standard deliverables in PowerPoint and Excel
- Using established processes, identify, and collect profile information about highly regarded thought leaders in specific therapeutic fields across multiple data sources including major social media platforms, PubMed, clinical trials registries, congress/event websites
- Collaborate with US-based teams to review data output
- Document and organize knowledge base of research and analysis processes
- Prepare periodic data insight summaries suitable for client review
- Research new life science product data from multiple data sources including, but not limited to the FDA, NIH, Elsevier, MMIT, & DRG
- Research and remediate internally identified data quality issues for foundational data assets
- Research, document, classify oncology treatment pathway data in established data models
- Prepare monthly assessments of targeted therapeutic areas supporting the Vantage product
- Apply quality assurance best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience interpreting US life science agency (e.g. FDA, NCCN, etc.) oncology data
- Experience supporting Data and Analytics or SaaS-based enterprise products
- Experience in managed markets and pharma market access ecosystem
- Knowledge of payer marketing, drug development lifecycle and drug launch processes
- Knowledge of oncology treatment pathways/paradigms
