Research Associate

Summary

Join our research teams to produce unbiased, independent research (Proxy Papers) covering your markets' general meetings, by reviewing meeting materials, analysing information, summarising meeting proposals and providing voting recommendations based on best practice.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or postgraduate students currently enrolled, or candidates with a degree in the following: Business, Economics, Finance, Law, Finance journalism, Corporate Governance, Language translation, Public policy
• Excellent English reading and writing skills
• Basic reading competency in at least one of the following languages: Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish
• Task and time management skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst paying attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; personable
• Excellent written English plus reading competency in one of the languages listed above
• IT skills: proficiency in MS Office, Excel and online research tools

Responsibilities

• Reviewing meeting materials disclosed by publicly listed companies
• Analysing information with regards to corporate governance and remuneration practices
• Summarising meeting proposals and providing voting recommendations based on best practice
