Summary
Join Unite Us as our 2025 Research & Evaluation Intern and apply your research, analytical, and project management skills to support our research and evaluation initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience conducting literature reviews and data analyses, contributing to reports and presentations on real-world evaluations. This 8-week summer internship (June 16 - August 11, 2025) will deepen your understanding of social care innovation, health-related social needs, and program effectiveness assessment methodologies. The internship is remote, U.S.-based, and pays $20/hour for 35 hours per week. You will work with the Unite Us Research and Evaluation team, contributing to actionable insights and helping to improve the experience of those navigating health and social services.
Requirements
- You are currently pursuing your Master's in Public Health
- You can translate existing research into actionable insights and have experience in technical writing and research
- You are proficient in data manipulation and analysis, with experience in descriptive and applied statistics using R or SAS
- You are flexible and excited to work in a fast-paced environment with evolving needs, possessing a self-motivated, 'get it done' mentality and comfort with ambiguity
- You thrive in a cross-functional environment and enjoy working collaboratively with a diverse team of individuals with different backgrounds and skill sets
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret scientific literature to build a comprehensive evidence base of health-related social needs and the effectiveness of social care innovation
- Identify and analyze data from publicly available datasets, generating insights that inform decision-making and industry advancements
- Create presentations and data visualizations to effectively communicate research findings to internal and external audiences
- Develop an understanding of research and evaluation methodologies, including data analysis and impact measurement in the social care technology space
- Participate in regular meetings with the full Unite Us Research and Evaluation team
