Summary
Join Method, a global design and engineering consultancy, as a Senior Experience Designer in our Bengaluru office. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on service strategy and experience design projects, supporting opportunity framing, conducting research, leading workshops, and creating experience artifacts. You will contribute to the planning, conducting, and interpreting of primary and secondary research to inform experience principles, user needs, strategy, and direction of client products and services. The role requires defining and designing digital service solutions, contributing to the creation of experience artifacts, and taking ownership of your area of expertise. Impact Method through common missions that better serve projects, people, and the world. International travel is required (up to 15%).
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in design research, digital strategy, interaction design or service design
- A portfolio that reflects your strengths in research, strategy, service design, and visual storytelling and a solid foundation in understanding the complexity and intricacies of business problems and the design process
- Demonstrated success in defining, creating, and launching digital products or services
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to successfully articulate your work and its intent to your team and your client
- A unique point of view. You are trusted to question approaches, processes, and strategy to better serve your team
Responsibilities
- Define and design digital service solutions with different disciplines in a highly collaborative environment
- Contribute to the planning, conducting and interpreting of primary and secondary research to inform the experience principles, user needs, strategy and direction of our clientβs products and services. Research methods include stakeholder interviews and generative and evaluative customer research and concept validation
- Contribute to planning collaborative workshops and work sessions with internal and external teams, and lead sections as appropriate
- Contribute to the creation of experience artifacts including archetypes, customer journeys, service blueprints, ecosystems, design artifacts, and presentations etc
- Take ownership of your area of expertise to elevate the project vision and carry it forward
