Revenue Accountant

Summary

Join Coupa Software in Colombia as a Revenue Accountant and ensure the smooth processing of complex order forms from Salesforce into Netsuite. You will maintain the accuracy of revenue accounting spreadsheets, create insightful reports, and conduct in-depth analysis of global orders in various currencies. This role directly impacts global financial operations. You will work on revenue allocation, month-end close activities, and assist with billing, revenue, and deferred revenue analysis. Support is also needed for FP&A, Sarbanes-Oxley documentation, and M&A activities. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced Excel skills, and experience with Salesforce and Netsuite.

Requirements

• Fluent English
• Up to 5 years of revenue accounting and billing experience and knowledge of revenue recognition rules
• Good understanding of financial statements and strong account reconciliation skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Advanced MS Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and VLookUp)

Responsibilities

• Works on revenue allocation for multi-element arrangements
• Assist in month-end close activities and revenue account reconciliations
• Assist in billing, revenue, and deferred revenue analysis and support audit related to revenue and billing
• Support FP&A by providing revenue/billing analysis and reports as needed
• Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and participate in SOX testing as needed
• Support M&A activities for revenue-related areas, including integration
