Revenue Accountant

Summary

This role requires managing revenue recognition, overseeing the order-to-cash cycle, analyzing customer contracts, preparing reports, collaborating with teams, assisting with audits, and driving automation. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years of revenue accounting experience (preferably in SaaS), strong knowledge of GAAP, proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce, and exceptional analytical and communication skills are required. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of revenue accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or subscription-based models
• Strong knowledge of GAAP revenue recognition principles (ASC606)
• Proficiency in NetSuite and Salesforce; experience with Zone Billing is a plus
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Manage the revenue recognition process in compliance with GAAP and ASC606 standards
• Oversee the order-to-cash cycle, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections
• Analyze customer contracts to ensure accurate revenue treatment and reporting
• Prepare and reconcile revenue reports, including deferred revenue balances
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to streamline operations
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis
• Drive automation and process improvements to support scalability and operational efficiency
